Catherine Alix-Panabières: Honored to Deliver a Keynote Lecture on Liquid Biopsy in GI Cancers at SIPAD

Catherine Alix-Panabières, Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montpellier, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Honored to have delivered a 30-minute Keynote Lecture at the national meeting of the Italian Society of Digestive Pathology (SIPAD) in beautiful Imperia, Italy  24 October 2025 / 16h30.

My talk focused on Liquid Biopsy in Gastrointestinal Cancers, highlighting the exciting potential of this non-invasive approach to complement traditional tissue biopsies for diagnosis, monitoring, and guiding treatment decisions.

During my keynote lecture in Imperia, I also highlighted the immense potential of the European Liquid Biopsy Society (ELBS) consortium.

ELBS plays a key role in harmonizing protocols and bringing the community together to work in the same direction — towards the integration of Liquid Biopsy into routine clinical practice.

By joining efforts across Europe, ELBS is helping to transform the promise of liquid biopsy into reality, bringing precision medicine one step closer for cancer patients.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Antonio Amato, my excellent moderator, and to the IPAD community for the warm invitation. It will generate inspiring discussions.

It was a pleasure to highlight innovative ideas with so many colleagues dedicated to advancing precision oncology and improving patient care.”
