Professor Catherine Alix-Panabières is Professor of Oncology at CHU de Montpellier and the Faculty of Medicine, where she directs the “Laboratoire de Cellules Circulantes Humaines Rares et Biopsie Liquide” (LCCRH). A pioneer in the field of circulating tumor cells (CTCs), she co-coined the term “Liquid Biopsy” in 2010 with Prof. Klaus Pantel.

With over 26 years of expertise, more than 160 scientific publications, and several international awards, her work has been instrumental in demonstrating the clinical utility of CTCs in cancer research and care.

At the 5th Joint Meeting on Lung Cancer, she will:
