“Wrapping up my first American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting.
This week, I had the opportunity to present our work in lung cancer and contribute to two additional collaborative studies presented at the meeting.
I was also honored to receive the Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation International Development and Education Award (IDEA), which brought together an incredible group of early-career oncologists from around the world.
Meeting colleagues from dozens of countries across five continents, exchanging experiences from very different healthcare systems, and realizing how much we can learn from one another was inspiring.
I leave Chicago with new friendships, new ideas, and several connections that I hope will continue long after ASCO.
Grateful to my mentors, collaborators, and friends for being part of this journey.”
