Carolyn Taylor: Looking Forward to Joining the World Cancer Congress 2026 in Hong Kong

Carolyn Taylor, Global Cancer Lived Experience Advocate, shared on LinkedIn:

“I’m looking forward to joining colleagues from around the world at the World Cancer Congress 2026 in Hong Kong.

This year, I’ll be contributing to conversations across several areas of our work:

  • Meaningful engagement of partners and stakeholders in national cancer control planning and implementation.
  • Evidence from our Stronger Together peer support program in Rwanda and Ethiopia and its impact on quality of life and treatment continuation.
  • Co-design of new approaches to supporting informal cancer caregivers across Latin America.

Three very different pieces of work, but all grounded in a shared principle: cancer control is stronger when the people and communities it is intended to serve are meaningfully involved in shaping it.

Looking forward to the conversations, connections, and learning in Hong Kong.”
