Carolyn Taylor, Founder and Executive Director of Global Focus on Cancer (GFC), shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper she co-authored with colleagues published in The Lancet Regional Health – Western Pacific:
“Thrilled to share our new paper, ‘Global need, regional action: opportunities to improve cancer survivorship care in the Western Pacific,’ now published in The Lancet Regional Health – Western Pacific.
The Western Pacific region is home to over 12.8 million people living after cancer, yet survivorship care remains fragmented. Our team calls for coordinated regional action – grounded in culture, equity, and lived experience – to strengthen survivorship systems, integrate traditional and community-based care, and embed these priorities within national cancer control plans.
So proud to contribute alongside incredible colleagues led by Michael Jefford, Fiona Crawford-Williams, Miyako Takahashi, Wendy Lam, Alexandre Chan, Bogda Koczwara, Yan Lou, and Raymond Chan.”
