Carolyn Ee: Proud to Present Cancer Survivorship Research at MASCC 2026

Carolyn Ee, Associate Editor at Australian Journal of Primary Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“My first MASCC meeting as a fully fledged member of the Flinders Caring Futures Institute Cancer Survivorship Team! Reflecting on how lucky we are to be led by Raymond Chan, Catherine Paterson, Prue Cormie and have had the opportunity to catch up with our wider family Larissa Nekhlyudov, Vivienne Milch, Nicolas Hart, Jackie Bender, William Dale, Alex Fauer during our time in Melbourne.

Other highlights this trip were being able to present our team’s work on the PEARL study on patient navigation for Chinese- and Vietnamese-speaking cancer survivors in Australia, and seeing the packed room at the Lifestyle and Integrative Medicine study group meeting.

For Australians, we get to say ‘See you at PC4 and ACCN in September!’

I can’t wait to host the PC4 – Primary Care Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Group symposium in Adelaide on Sep 9 in partnership with Flinders Caring Futures Institute preceding the Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network showcase on Sep 10. Join us for an outstanding day of multidisciplinary research in cancer in primary care, with Karen van Gorp (she/her) and Vivienne Milch as our keynote speakers. Our program is out so please check out the phenomenal presenters we have lined up.

Apart from being able to be immersed in the wonderful research and advocacy being done around the world (especially by PhD students and ECRs) it was also a joy to connect with so many colleagues in person. I am sorry if I missed you this time, there are definitely people I will be reaching out to online. Travel safely if you are heading back home, and see you at Rotterdam 2027 (or PC4!).”
