“From CHMP opinions to the future of cell and gene therapies – another busy week.
This month, I signed off several haemato-oncology opinions, including Frehemgo in haemophilia A, Ruxolitinib Zentiva, and extensions of indications for Tecvayli and Pepaxti in multiple myeloma.
Alongside this, I was pleased to speak at the RAPS Conference workshop on navigating cell and gene therapies regulatory strategies, discussing some of the regulatory challenges around these rapidly evolving technologies.
Two very different parts of the job, but both at the heart of what I value about working at the EMA: working with interesting people and bringing science, regulation and innovation together to support sound decisions for patients.”
