“A great start of the month with the first oncology assessors’ day organised jointly by the oncology and haemato-oncology offices at EMA on June 3rd.
What started as an idea to create a dedicated forum for oncology assessors brought together about 40 colleagues from across the EU/EEA network for a day of discussion, learning, and collaboration.
For me, one of the most rewarding aspects was witnessing the quality of the exchanges during both the plenary and breakout sessions. The willingness of colleagues to engage, challenge ideas, and learn from one another demonstrated the strength of our regulatory network and our shared commitment to delivering high-quality assessments for patients.
A sincere thank you to all participants, speakers, moderators, and colleagues who helped make this first edition such a success. Special appreciation also goes to the colleagues from both offices whose enthusiasm and hard work turned the concept into reality.
Hopefully the first of many!”
