Carlos Rodriguez-Galindo, EVP and Chair, Department of Global Pediatric Medicine at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“On behalf of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, I am honored to co-host an upcoming virtual dialogue with Ms. Dévora Kestel of the World Health Organization, titled Global Platform in Action: How Country-Led Collaboration is Strengthening Access to Childhood Cancer Medicines.
Please join us on October 29 as we highlight how 12 countries are taking bold steps to increase access to quality-assured medicines for children with cancer in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) through the Global Platform for Access to Childhood Cancer Medicines.
The virtual session will feature practical examples of country readiness, collaboration, and collective action across civil society, governments, health facilities, and other stakeholders. Together, we are working to expand access to essential childhood cancer medicines, so children can receive treatment regardless of where they live.
