C Ola Landgren: Integrating Bispecific Antibodies Into Everyday Multiple Myeloma Care

C Ola Landgren, Leader, Translational and Clinical Oncology Program/Experimental Therapeutics at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared on LinkedIn:

“Congratulations to the organizers and colleagues at HEMO2026 (Oct 28-31, 2026) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on a wonderful meeting! As the third-largest congress dedicated to hematology, hemotherapy, and cell therapy in the Western world, HEMO reflects the strength of Brazilian hematology and its important role in advancing our field.

Thank you for inviting me to present ‘Integrating Bispecific Antibodies in My Clinical Practice’ twice during this year’s meeting. I was delighted to join virtually today and look forward to speaking again tomorrow.

My talk focuses on translating advances in myeloma immunotherapy into everyday patient care. Through a clinical case, clinical trial findings, and real-world evidence, we explored questions that matter to patients:

  • How do we select treatment?
  • How do we deliver it safely? And
  • How can we adapt care to reduce treatment burden while maintaining disease control?

The future of multiple myeloma care will require scientific innovation, individualized treatment, and close collaboration across our care teams. International meetings like HEMO provide valuable opportunities to share experience, challenge our thinking, and build that future together.

Our shared ambition is to turn remarkable science into better treatments and longer lives. And to give patients more time to spend doing what matters to them.”
