“Our researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai have been named a Milestone 2 Awardee in XPRIZE Healthspan, a $101 million global competition challenging researchers to help people live healthier, longer lives.
Our NYC-Vita clinical trial team, led by Miriam Merad, was selected from an international field of semifinalists and is now advancing to the XPRIZE Healthspan Finals. This achievement reflects the power of true multidisciplinary collaboration, bringing together experts across immunology, neuroscience, metabolism, imaging, and clinical investigation, including Dr. Zahi Fayad, Fanny Elahi, Dr. Thomas Marron, and Dr. Ryan Walker.
