“Three days in Sofia, warmly hosted by the Italian Embassy, set the stage for our Refresher Course on Breast Cancer (21–23 November).
From the opening lecture on what we stand in breast cancer care to in-depth sessions on diagnosis, local therapy, systemic treatment, and metastatic disease, the programme offered a comprehensive and practice-oriented update.
Particular attention was given to complex clinical situations, emerging technologies, de-escalation strategies, and the importance of multidisciplinary decision-making.
The Tumour Board session, enriched by clinical cases presented by participants, demonstrated the value of peer-to-peer learning.
