“While it is not commonly accepted that CVD is a major cause of competing mortality and morbidity for cancer survivors, major barriers to delivery of care remain.
Our study published today shows that while there is some overlap, the barriers seem to be different for patients and health care professionals – for example patients raise lack of awareness and access, whereas health care providers raise lack of role clarity.
