Ben Park, Director of Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In its fifth year, Swim Across America Nashville set a new record, raising more than $130,000 during this summer’s event to support cancer research and clinical trials at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
I was honored to help kick things off with a cannonball and to see so many swimmers, supporters, and volunteers come together with a shared purpose. Since 2022, this event has raised more than $500,000 in support of cancer research initiatives, helping us advance discoveries and bring new hope to the patients we serve.
I’m deeply grateful to everyone who makes this event possible each year. Your commitment and generosity continue to drive meaningful progress and make a lasting difference for our patients and their families.
Thank you and looking forward to breaking another record next year!”
