“Our Global Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium has awarded its inaugural AI Accelerator Grant – a $1M global research investment with an additional $1M in compute support from Microsoft Research AI for Good Lab.
Leading researchers from the US, UK, Canada, and Australia – uniting expertise in epidemiology, molecular oncology, artificial intelligence, and clinical medicine.
Why does this matter?
Because for the deadliest form of ovarian cancer, we still cannot reliably predict who will benefit from treatment – and who won’t. Using one of the largest international ovarian cancer datasets ever assembled, this team will apply AI to uncover patterns no traditional approach can detect – with the goal of delivering smarter, more personalized care for patients worldwide.
