New EU-Funded Project to Support Survivors of Testicular Cancer – Association of European Cancer Leagues

Association of European Cancer Leagues shared a post on LinkedIn:

” We are in Cork, Ireland to kick off a new EU-funded project to support survivors of testicular cancer!

Testicular cancer is most common cancer in men aged 15 to 39 years, and incidence rates within Europe have doubled over the past 40 years. While survival rates exceed 95%, survivors can face a lifetime of physical, psychological, and social complications.

TRANSCEND-XR is a 5.5-year EU-funded project that will co-create a cutting-edge eXtended Reality (XR) experience to improve the quality of life of testicular cancer survivors.

We are proud to be involved in this initiative, which will be led by University College Cork and bring together 15 partners from 12 countries and 15 disciplines, including clinicians, epidemiologists, XR developers, 3D artists and, crucially, testicular cancer survivors themselves.
