Ashok Sebastian Komaranchath, Consultant Medical Oncology and Clinical Lead for Oncology Services at Burjeel Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Starting out my second observership at Mayo Clinic today in GI oncology with the friendliest and nicest medical oncologist Dr. Ben George.
What blew me away the first day is the number of experimental medicines and therapy available here. From hitherto ‘undruggable’ targets like Pan RAS (Daraxonrasib) which got a standing ovation at ASCO2026 for its pathbreaking results in arguably the worst cancer possible, metastatic pancreatic cancer; to ongoing trials like FOG-001 with a new Helicon molecule that can shut down the ubiquitous and arterial Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway that drives so many cancers.
The future of oncology sure looks bright!”
