“A perfect start to the 4-day Learning Sprint of the 5-month long CCAE Virtual Learning Series 2025!
Today was especially meaningful as Pakistan officially rolled out their HPV vaccination program – a milestone moment in the global fight against cervical cancer.
In our opening session, Dr. Anu Agrawal opened the day and moderated an outstanding group of presenters. We had the privilege of hearing from:
Dr. Neerja Bhatla – on the global burden of cervical cancer and the Global Strategy for Accelerating Cervical Cancer Elimination
Dr. Naveen Thacker – on HPV vaccination science and evidence
Emily Kobayashi (from Gavi) – on the role of CSOs in improving HPV vaccine uptake
Nina DaSilva Batista (from ACS) – on communicating effectively with communities about the HPV vaccine
With 50+ participants from 17 countries, the day was filled with rich discussions, exchange of experiences, and best practices – all expertly facilitated by our faculty.”
