Antonio Grimaldi, Director of U.O.C. Oncology at AORN San Pio, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today the patients and all the staff of the Medical Oncology Unit of the AORN San Pio received the visit of the Three Wise Men of the Living Nativity Scene of Pietrelcina who, together with Father Carlo Maria Laborde, brought the great gift of comfort and hope that the child Jesus of Padre Pio gives.
I saw many good hearts among the patients, the staff of the Oncology Department and the protagonists of the living nativity scene moved to tears, gather together to celebrate the fraternity and love that accompanies everything that is done with the heart and share the surprise of a precious and unexpected visit as well as the suffering of those who will spend Christmas in the hospital.
A special thanks and best wishes for a Merry Christmas to Father Carlo Maria Laborde, to the President of the Living Nativity Association of Pietrelcina, Daniela Fioretti, to the bagpipers Piero and Marco and to the fantastic Three Wise Men Cosimo Orlacchio, Pellegrino Scocca and Giuseppe Mazzone.”
