Childhood Cancer International – Europe (CCI Europe) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last week, Anita Kienesberger, Chair of the CCI – Europe Committee, took part in the ECHoS | Establishing of Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies Town Hall meeting, an event that showcased the growing momentum for stronger and more integrated cancer care and research across Europe.
Anita shared her perspectives on why National Cancer Mission Hubs (NCMHs) are important for the future of cancer care. She explained that for the EU Mission on Cancer and Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan to work in the long term, the results and knowledge from EU projects must reach every country. NCMHs help make this possible by connecting EU-level work with national systems.
Her message was clear: stronger national engagement means better, more lasting impact for people affected by cancer.“
