“I’m proud to share that we’ve launched a new Call for Proposals at Unitaid to accelerate cervical cancer elimination.

Despite being preventable and treatable, cervical cancer continues to claim hundreds of thousands of lives each year. This funding opportunity aims to close that equity gap by supporting large-scale, integrated solutions that strengthen national systems and bring lifesaving services closer to the women who need them most.

Deadline: 9 April 2026 at 12:00 CET
Indicative funding envelope: ~US$30 million

Huge thanks to the team and partners who have shaped this call — and to all organizations working to end cervical cancer as a public health threat.”

Julie S. Torode, Director-General of the World Health Organization, reshared this post, adding:

“Exciting opportunity for countries ready to scale their cervical cancer screening and treatment services.”
