“This Prenuvo lawsuit will be an important one to track. What is the liability for future medical events occurring as a result of apparently missed findings on whole body MRI scans? Where does one draw the line in terms of the interval beyond which a ‘miss’ is considered non-contributory to the event?
As these ‘on demand’ whole body imaging platforms proliferate, we are likely to see more examples like the one below.
The sooner AI gets incorporated into the reads, the better. A brave new world indeed!”
