Angelos M. Stergiou, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Director at Sellas Life Sciences Group, Inc., shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I was truly honored to be hosted by Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle at the historic Jefferson House in Athens last week. We had a wonderful and fruitful conversation centered on the vital importance of biotechnology cooperation between the United States, Greece, and the broader European region – I had first met her many years ago and we have many common friends, including the Greek Minister of Heath, Adonis Georgiadis.
As a company with deep roots in both the U.S. and Europe, SELLAS Life Sciences Group, Inc. is a living example of how cross-border collaboration drives innovation. Discussing the future of life sciences and the strategic partnerships that can accelerate cancer drug development was incredibly inspiring.
I am deeply appreciative of Ambassador Guilfoyle’s hospitality and her keen interest in how we can further strengthen the scientific bridges between our nations. Innovative and breakthrough leukemia treatments are close to the Ambassador’s heart, due to personal reasons, and we discussed the stage of GPS and SLS009 development path. It is clear that her tenure will be marked by a dynamic approach to fostering business and innovation.
Wishing you much success in your important work, Ambassador. I look forward to continuing this dialogue.”
