“I am deeply proud and excited to share that TELENEC received a SIOP Award GHN at the International Society of Pediatric Oncology – SIOP 2026 Annual Congress, held last week in San Antonio, Texas.
TELENEC is Paraguay’s first national pediatric oncology telementoring network.
It connects pediatricians and primary care physicians across the country with pediatric hematologists and oncologists, promoting early recognition, timely referral, and access to specialized care for children with suspected cancer wherever they live.
This award recognizes three years of commitment to building a collaborative national network and bringing specialized care closer to every child in Paraguay.
My heartfelt gratitude goes to the entire TELENEC team, Fundación Renaci, My Child Matters Program from Sanofi Foundation and all our national and international partners who have supported this journey.
We are deeply honored by this recognition and more motivated than ever to continue working so that distance is never an obstacle to timely childhood cancer diagnosis and care.
Together, we are building a more equitable future for children with cancer.”
