“HPV-related cancers are preventable, but progress across Southeast Europe remains uneven and we need stronger teamwork to turn commitment into action.
On 11 May, I’ll be co-chairing a landmark regional event: ‘One Region, One Goal’ alongside Mihaela Grigore, HPV Lead at the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology.
Organised by the European Cancer Organisation, ESGO, and the Romanian Football Federation, this regional event will bring together policymakers, experts, and advocates to strengthen HPV vaccination, screening, and cancer prevention in practice.
