Amanda Pullinger: Non-Profit Challenges and AI Strategies Ahead of ASAE Conference

Amanda Pullinger, Co-Founder at Global Female Investors Management, LLC, shared on LinkedIn:

“This weekend, I’m headed to ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership’s Annual Meeting in Indianapolis. Two firsts: first time at ASAE Conference and first time in Indy!

While, technically, I no longer run an ‘Association’ organization, the truth is that all non-profit organizations are running a Community of some sort. While we may not use the term ‘Members’ for our volunteers, donors, medical professionals, Industry partners, and our ultimate beneficiaries, patients and caregivers, at Debbie’s Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer, we are committed to being a connector for a number of constituents who make up the global stomach cancer community.

There are numerous issues facing non profit organizations in the US and around the world, and I’m particularly looking forward to attending the CEO Summit prior to the beginning of the Annual Meeting to share mutual challenges and opportunities with my peers.

The key areas I’m excited to learn more about from peers during the conference are:

  • how to make the most of AI tools – both for internal productivity and external outreach
  • how to better communicate to our Global Community in an era when communication platforms are becoming specialized and personalized
  • how to best scale up our ability to connect our Global Community through both human efforts and technology
  • how to tap into the burgeoning Donor -Advised Fund space
  • how to effectively diversify revenue streams

But in addition to education sessions, the real reason for spending my weekend away from the beach is to meet face-to-face with other non profit leaders, as we all face an ever-changing world.”
