“Today, a long – standing dream became a reality: a dedicated symposium focused on neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC), bringing patients, caregivers, and experts together at UCSF.
Heartfelt thanks to our patients, caregivers, speakers, sponsors, and advocacy partners – especially NorCalCarciNET for organizing and MinkhazNETs Mission for supporting this special event. Your questions, experiences, and commitment gave the day its purpose.
We had wonderful talks spanning everything from novel DLL3 T-cell engagers to edible mushrooms, and closed with a calming mindfulness session. A day of science, connection, and hope.
But the hard work begins now.
Our goal for next year is to take this a step further: bring leading NEC experts from across the globe to San Francisco for an annual NEC Think Tank and Patient Symposium – to exchange ideas, build collaborations, and turn progress into better care.
Cheers to the future – and to building it together!
