“Today Natàlia Lorman Carbó defended her doctoral thesis “Biological Mechanisms of Response and Resistance to CDK4/6 Inhibitors in Hormone Receptor-Positive HER2-Negative Breast Cancer“.
I co-directed the work with Dr. Fara Brasó Maristany, and seeing Natàlia present it so clearly and confidently was a real pleasure.
It has been a long road, many samples, many analyses, many discussions, and today it all came together in a fantastic defense. She handled the questions with depth and calm, showing how much she has grown scientifically over these years.
My sincere thanks to the examination panel, Dr. Joan Albanell, Dr. Cristina Saura and Dr. Teresa Blasco, for their time, their questions, and for the excellent scientific discussion we had afterwards.
And a special thanks to Roger Gomis Lab and ONA Therapeutics team, whose collaboration and scientific exchange helped make this project stronger.
