Ajay Major: Underrecognized and Modifiable Challenge of Patients with Hematologic Malignancies

Ajay Major, Founder and President of Pager Publications and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, shared a post on X highlighing a poster presentation at EHA 2026:

In a PRO study of 201 patients with hematologic malignancies, sleep disturbance was common and early: 74% reported deterioration within 1 week of diagnosis, 78% had poor PSQI sleep quality, and 81% said sleep received little/no clinical attention. Sleep is underrecognized and modifiable PRO target w/ downstream QoL effects.”
