Agrima Mian Reviews a Potential New First-Line Option for DLBCL

Agrima Mian, Hematology/Oncology fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, shared a post on X:

“Late breaking from ASCO26 Day 2 for Lymphoma – FrontMIND trial.

  • Tafa+ Len + RCHOP vs RCHOP in 1L DLBCL IPI 3-5
  • HR for PFS 0.75
  • 2 yr median PFS 72% vs 65%
  • overall rate G3/4 TEAEs comparable, but increased cytopenias; febrile neutropenia in Tafa/Len/RCHOP

Potential new SOC option for 1L DLBCL in high risk pts, regardless of COO. My concerns: Difficult regimen with weekly Tafa and 10 days of Len; higher myelosuppression/VTE risk with Len; plus concern of CD19 loss and efficacy of 2L CAR.”
