“27,000 blue flags line the National Mall.
Each one represents a life that will be lost to CRC in 2030 – unless we ACT.
The display, organized by Fight Colorectal Cancer, is a powerful reminder of the growing toll of this disease, especially among younger adults.
Colorectal cancer is now the leading cause of cancer-related death in people under 50 in the United States.
Awareness is critical. But awareness alone isn’t enough.
Patients need earlier detection, better treatment options, and continued innovation.
This Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, we stand with the patients, families, clinicians, and advocates working to change the trajectory of this disease.”
