Adam Lenkowsky, Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer at Bristol Myers Squibb, shared on LinkedIn:
“Yesterday was humbling, emotional and deeply inspiring. I had the privilege of riding the final day of Coast to Coast for Cancer in the United States – the culmination of a nearly 3,000 – mile journey from Oregon to New Jersey that began on September 10 and brought together more than 100 of our Bristol Myers Squibb colleagues in support of cancer research.
But C2C4C is about far more than miles on a bike. It is about purpose. It is about perseverance. And most importantly, it is about patients.
Now in its 13th year, C2C4C reflects the very best of Bristol Myers Squibb: colleagues coming together across countries, cultures and functions around a shared commitment to transform patients’ lives. In 2026, more than 300 BMS employees from more than 30 markets will participate in rides across the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. I have been truly fortunate to participate in C2C4C many times, and each ride has stayed with me. You ride alongside colleagues, but you also ride with the stories and memories of family members, friends and patients whose lives have been touched by cancer. Those stories make every mile incredibly meaningful.
Yesterday’s finish at our Princeton, New Jersey office was unforgettable. As we climbed off our bikes, thousands of colleagues welcomed us home with cheers. It was a powerful reminder that while only some of us were on the bikes, this effort belongs to all of us.
C2C4C raises funds for organizations that are members of the Union for International Cancer Control in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America, and for the V Foundation for Cancer Research in the United States. Every mile ridden helps advance research and brings us one step closer to better outcomes for patients.
Congratulations to my colleagues across Europe and the United States who completed their 2026 journeys, and best wishes to our colleagues in Asia Pacific who began their ride this week in Japan and to those preparing for C2C4C Latin America this December. To everyone who rode, supported, cheered and helped make these journeys possible: thank you.
We ride for the people we love. We ride for the patients we serve. And we ride with the belief that progress is possible when we refuse to stop pushing forward.
