Abigail Simon-Hart: Discussion on the Current Landscape of Nursing in Nigeria
Abigail Simon-Hart, Director at Centrepoint medical Services limited, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was a pleasure to host some of the executives from the Oncology Nursing Society of Nigeria for a meaningful discussion on the current landscape of nursing in Nigeria—particularly around hospice and palliative care.
At The Bricon Foundation and Bricon Global Consult Limited, we’re always eager to support passionate professionals, and it’s truly inspiring to connect with young nurses who are dedicated to making a difference in patient care. To date we have trained over 450 doctors, nurses, healthcare workers and NGO in cancer awareness, end of life and pallaition and breaking bad news.
We have also trained professionals in listening skills, body language and other softer skills that are often ignored.
We look forward supporting the society over the coming months with free training to enrich members’ knowledge and help strengthen the quality of care delivered across the country.”
