“Sharing knowledge with our colleagues and friends at the Japanese Assiciation of Sarcoma Research and Treatment JSTAR meeting – especially Shintaro Iwata, Akira Kawai and Tetsuya Sekita: Many thanks for your warm welcome!
We are aiming to help setting up TNF/Melphalan isolated limb perfusion in Japan with the help of BELPHARMA s.a. (Angela Maerten, David Delpire), which is currently not available in Japan.
We also discussed the STRASS2 and STREXIT2 study: our common EORTC – European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer – STBSG study with the sarcoma group of JCOG (Japan clinical oncology group).
Japan included 6 patients in STRASS2 and 3 in STREXIT2 so far, and more to come!
Looking forward to further strengthening our collaborations with our Asian counterparts JCOG and ATLAS.”
