“The results of the IARC Monographs evaluation of 3 pesticides – the herbicides atrazine and alachlor and the fungicide vinclozolin – have now been published in The Lancet Group Oncology.
The summary article presents the conclusions of the IARC Monographs Meeting 140.”
Mary Schubauer-Berigan, Head of Evidence Synthesis and Classification Branch at IARC/WHO, shared this post, adding:
“We are grateful to the expert Working Group for meeting 140 of the IARC Monographs for finalizing their evaluation of the carcinogenicity of three pesticides, the herbicides atrazine and alachlor, and the fungicide vinclozolin. The meeting summary has been published in The Lancet Oncology, with the full volume to follow in late 2026 or early 2027.”
