Yan Leyfman: New Research on Restoring Well – Being in Older Adults

Yan Leyfman, Co-founder and Executive Director of MedNews Week, shared a post on X:

“New research from the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) reveals that nearly 1 in 4 older adults who were not in optimal well – being at baseline regained it within three years.

Those who were younger, married, physically active , non – smokers , had higher income , and fewer chronic conditions were more likely to recover well – being.

These findings suggest that declines in health and happiness with age aren’t inevitable – and that lifestyle and social factors can make a meaningful difference.”
