“As I close my chapter today as CEO of the V Foundation, my heart is full of gratitude.
To our founder Jim Valvano, his family, and our remarkable staff, whose dedication and brilliance fuel our mission each day…to our Board and volunteers who give us their time and talents…to our donors and corporate partners, whose generosity make our work possible…to our V researchers who are the all-stars accelerating cures…and to the broader V Foundation community, who never stop pushing toward VictoryOverCancer – Thank you.
Together, we’ve not only raised critical funds for game-changing research, but also shared in moments of hope and compassion.
We’ve set year-over-year records that set the stage for even greater impact. These public celebrations are special, but it’s the countless, often unseen acts of teamwork, innovation, and commitment that I will cherish most.
I will forever carry with me the privilege of serving alongside you. I’ll be continuing the fight, and I have no doubt this extraordinary group will achieve the V’s mission.
