Richard Scolyer: A few weeks ago, I had another lumbar puncture
Richard Scolyer shared on X/Twitter:
“A few weeks ago, I had another lumbar puncture (LP). It was the 4th or 5th one I’d had over the past year or so, performed to sample my cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). The CSF was analysed mainly for research purposes and was tested in a number of separate research laboratories looking for potential immunotherapy-related biomarkers and biomarkers of glioblastoma recurrence (to help interpret MRI scans). Thanks to interventional radiologist Dr. Tim Shore who did a superb job! No post LP headache this time around! Thanks to everyone in the multidisciplinary team for looking after me so well. And thanks to my family, friends and colleagues for their continued support.”
