“Just imagine, just imagine your child has been diagnosed with cancer. There is a hospital, and there is treatment. But it happens that you live far away from the hospital, and you are the economic support of a big familiy. Extra money is needed for essentials, food for the journey, bus, etc. you do not have the money. Despite you desperately want your child to be cured, you will ‘abandon’ the treatment.
We would like the world to be different, that government, societies, public health work in any and every place. We know this is not a reality in many countries, there are many children that could be cured only if they had a relatively small amounts of money.
We need initiatives such as Zero Abandonment… get informed, join, donate.
