Aurélie Degeneffe: Women with meningioma have a higher lifetime risk of breast cancer compared to the general female population

Quoting Aurélie Degeneffe, a neurosurgeon from the UZ Brussels, “A recent meta-analysis published in JAMA Network Open shows that women with meningioma have a higher lifetime risk (OR 9.87) of breast cancer compared to the general female population. Raising awareness for this matter is important.”
