Joshua Omale: On World Health Day, join me in standing up for the health rights of children everywhere
Joshua Omale, Cancer Advocate and a Student Member of the
“Today, on World Health Day we unite to celebrate the fundamental right to health. Under the World Health Organization theme ‘My Health, My Right’, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that everyone, everywhere, has access to the highest standard of health care.
For me, this day holds special significance as I continue my unwavering advocacy for childhood cancer awareness and mortality prevention. Childhood cancer is a harsh reality faced by many families around the world, and it’s a cause that’s deeply personal to me.
As we commemorate World Health Day, let’s not forget the youngest and most vulnerable among us. Every child deserves the right to good health and well-being. Through my initiatives and advocacy efforts, I’m dedicated to making this a reality.
Together, we can work towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being for All. Let’s prioritize prevention, raise awareness, and ensure access to quality healthcare for every child.
Join me in standing up for the health rights of children everywhere. Together, we can make a difference.”
