Isabel Mestres: I am very proud of the organizational culture we are building together with the C/Can team
Isabel Mestres, CEO at City Cancer Challenge Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“When City Cancer Challenge was established as an independent foundation in 2019, we had a very clear idea what we did not want to be as an organisation:
- Inflexible processes.
- Rigid structures and reporting lines.
- Regional delineation.
- Governance bodies and top-down decision making.
- Siloed experiences. What we did want to be:
What we did want to be:
- Motivated individuals with an agile mindset.
- Supportive team with diverse expertise.
- Sharing and results oriented culture.
- Willing to take risks and improvise.
Rapid learnings and fast decision cycles. I am very proud of the organizational culture we are building together with the C/Can team, committed to delivering local impact based on transparency, collaboration, co-creation and entrepreneurship. Thank you to ALL our funders and partners who are supporting this journey with in-kind and financial support. Special thank you to Roche Amgen, Siemens Healthineers and Takeda for their multi-year commitments.”
