The ACS NBCRT is proud to announce the launch of its 2024-2029 Strategic Plan – American Cancer Society

Karen Knudsen recently shared a post by the American Cancer Society on LinkedIn, adding:

“I’m so proud of the work that the American Cancer Society National Breast Cancer Roundtable is doing to transform breast cancer across the continuum of care to achieve optimal outcomes for every person.

The 2024-2029 Strategic Plan provides recommended strategies and activities that our partners can use to help define, prioritize, and accomplish their goals across the breast cancer continuum, offering a national roadmap for advocacy and action.”

Quoting American Cancer Society’s post:

“The ACS NBCRT is proud to announce the launch of its 2024-2029 Strategic Plan, which has been developed through a comprehensive and collaborative process involving input from community contributors nationwide.

The ACS NBCRT Strategic Plan is centered around four key priority areas:

1. Risk Assessment, Screening, Risk Reduction & Early Diagnosis
2. Access to Treatment
3. Clinical Trials
4. Support & Wellness Services

By prioritizing these areas, the ACS NBCRT aims to strengthen collaboration and consensus and drive progress in the breast cancer continuum. Through strategic partnerships, the ACS NBCRT is dedicated to eliminating disparities and reducing mortality rates.

Thank you to the ACS NBCRT Leadership, members, persons with lived experiences, generous supporters, and team members for their collaborative efforts.

We invite you to view the ACS NBCRT Strategic Plan at our website.”
