A Major Win for Early Detection – Fight Colorectal Cancer
Fight Colorectal Cancer shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In 2018, the recommended screening age for colorectal cancer was lowered from 50 to 45. A major win for early detection.
Fight CRC played a key role in pushing for this change and continues to lead efforts to understand why more young adults are being diagnosed.
Since the update, diagnoses in people over 50 have declined, proving that screening works. If you’re 45 or older, it’s time to call your doctor and schedule a colonoscopy. Screening can save your life.”
