Aleix Prat: Publishing is not Enough in Biomedical Research
Aleix Prat, Director of the Clínic Barcelona Comprehensive Cancer Center at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, shared on LinkedIn:
“Happy to announce that we have been provisionally awarded two grants in the 2024 ‘Call for Public-Private Partnership Projects’, totaling more than 4.3 million euros, in collaboration with ONA Therapeutics and Reveal Genomics.
These projects aim to bring cutting-edge science closer to clinical application, advancing the development of innovative diagnostics and therapies through public-private collaboration.
In biomedical research, publishing is not enough. If we want to make a real impact, we must accelerate the translation of discoveries into new diagnostics, therapies, and care models.
Many thanks to the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain and the State Research Agency for supporting collaborative, impact-driven research.
Let’s keep strengthening this ecosystem of innovation and international competitiveness.”
