Cancer Fight Tanzania on ESMO Preceptorship on Gastroesophageal Cancer 2025
Cancer Fight Tanzania shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We are proud to share that our Executive Director at Cancer Fight Tanzania, Dr Shaban Juma had the opportunity to attend the ESMO Preceptorship on Gastroesophageal Cancer 2025, held in Nairobi, Kenya, from July 10–11.
This intensive training brought together leading experts and practitioners across Africa and beyond, focusing on:
- The epidemiology and risk factors of gastroesophageal cancer
- Prevention strategies and support for survivorship
- Multidisciplinary treatment approaches for localized disease
- Advanced strategies for managing metastatic cases
Participation in such a high-level program aligns strongly with our mission to raise awareness, advocate for prevention, and promote early detection of cancer in Tanzania.
With the knowledge and insights gained, we are better positioned to educate communities, influence policy, and improve cancer outcomes for all Tanzanians.
Let’s continue working together toward a cancer-free future.”
