Day 2 of the SIOP Europe Course With “Time Magazine Abstracts”
SIOP Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Day 2 of the SIOP Europe Course was structured around case-based learning, small group collaboration, and expert-led discussion.
Participants engaged in multi-perspective case presentations on neuroblastoma, ALL, kidney tumours, and Hodgkin lymphoma, followed by focused working groups covering imaging, diagnostics, treatment planning, and supportive care. These group discussions culminated in interactive “Cancer Board” sessions, where findings were presented and discussed with faculty.
Lectures on milestones in ALL therapy and neuroblastoma care provided clinical context, while a session on statistics in paediatric oncology gave participants tools to critically interpret evidence.
The day will conclude with another round of “Time Magazine Abstracts” from selected fellows who highlighted promising ideas in translational research, and an evening networking dinner.”
