Justin Yeung: Patient Reported Outcome Measures in the Treatment of Colorectal Cancer
Justin Yeung, Co-Founder and CMO at PredicTx Health and Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Western Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Patient reported outcome measures (PROMS) are useful adjuncts to enhance cancer survivorship.
Colorectal cancer patients at Western Health in collaboration with predicTx Health are having the impact of their cancer treatment assessed by PROMS.
Let’s all work towards offering precision medicine so that tailored treatments in the future can be offered to all patients affected by cancer.
Our team have previously investigated the use of PROMs in languages other than English to support our diverse community of patients.
We also recently published a perspectives piece in the ANZJSurg on implementation of PROMs into clinical practice.”
