“Strengthening Endocrine Care for Childhood Cancer Survivors.
As part of the SCARLET project, a secondment took place at the Princess Máxima Centre, Utrecht, Netherlands, on June 11–12, 2025. The VULSK team completed a professional visit to PMC, focusing on endocrinological support for childhood cancer survivors.
The visit highlighted an inspiring model where research and clinical care are seamlessly integrated, and where interdisciplinary collaboration drives outcomes. Valuable connections were made, including with leading expert Dr Sebastian, offering insights into CNS-specific follow-up programs and the transition from paediatric to adult care. These lessons will inform the development of structured endocrine care at VULSK.”
