Paolo Muto: My Last Day of Work at Pascale Full of Affection And Gratitude
Paolo Muto, Former Director of the Oncology Pathways Department at National Institute of Tumors IRCCS Pascale Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“To my colleagues:
Yesterday was officially my last day of work at Pascale and I want to leave you a greeting full of affection and gratitude. In these 15 years we have shared many challenges and successes, but also many difficulties that we have managed to overcome.
We have worked together with dedication and competence, some more than others, to ensure the best care for our patients. You were an incredible team and I will always carry the memory of this journey with me.
As I have already said to Pascale, I leave a model that will not take long to continue to make it work. It is up to all of you involved to continue the work that has begun. It is important to achieve the goals.
Thanks to all the management who have alternated over the years and who have really taken all my requests to heart, always in the interest of the ward and the patients. A special thanks, however, allow me to say it to Martina who with balance and wisdom from the control room was able to create that filter between us to limit misunderstandings.
I believe that he has certainly also been able to give a correct approach on the administrative level with great skills, but above all he has been the relief valve for many of you.
What else can I say?
Thank you for everything! I’m savoring this new life that I confide to you is not bad at all… we have to see how long it will last knowing me …In the meantime, from today I change my jersey, a new adventure that has the flavor of a challenge …. Let’s see how it will go.
A big hug and good life to all.”
